The Commission on Audit (COA) Regional Office III is actively following the guidelines set by COA Memorandum No. 2025-005, issued on March 19, 2025. This directive outlines a revised dress code and reinforces the mandatory attendance of all COA personnel at the flag-raising ceremony.
The updated memorandum is designed to refresh rules on appropriate office attire for government employees during official functions. It also aims to address important social issues such as gender equality, disability inclusion, and social diversity.
To align with the memo, employees from the Regional Office and the Provincial Satellite Auditing Offices wore ASEAN-inspired clothing during the flag ceremony on April 7, 2025, the first Monday of the month. On April 14, 2025, the second Monday, employees displayed traditional Filipino attire, with female staff wearing Filipiniana-inspired dresses and male staff in Barong Tagalog.

For the rest of the week, from Tuesday to Friday, employees are required to wear the agency-prescribed office uniform. If unavailable, Smart Casual or Business Casual attire is acceptable.
During his speech at the flag ceremony, Regional Director Omar S. Roque expressed his appreciation for everyone’s cooperation. He commended the employees for their enthusiasm and dedication in following the new guidelines.
The initiative highlights COA Regional Office III’s commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and cultural pride in the workplace.
